Naughty Tweet, Pure Play Media Announce Social Media Deal

LAS VEGAS — Pure Play Media and the Naughty Tweet Network announced a deal to expand Pure Play’s social media presence through PornStarTweet.com.

The adult social media site follows the daily lives of more than 650 porn stars through tools like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.

The company said the seven sites in the Naughty Tweet Network reaches more than 85,000 friends, fans and followers through numerous social networks.

The site is the Official Social Media Sponsor of the upcoming XFANZ Expo, set for June 10-11 in Las Vegas.

Pure Play recently announced its expansion in the social media world by establishing its Twitter and Facebook feeds to provide upcoming releases, tips on emerging trends, exclusive sales offers for retailers and special behind-the-scenes glimpses.

“We are working to create an environment where consumers of Pure Play brands are informed of all the great attributes of the titles that we release, before they are released," Pure Play CEO Richard Arnold said. "We know our product is great and we need our customers to know that. Social media is becoming the dominate way to inform our customer."

He added, “The Naughty Tweet Network was a natural choice for Pure Play Media to partner with to expand its presence in the social media world."

“We were excited to see Pure Play Media making a serious investment in social media,” said Pete Housley of The Naughty Tweet Network.

“In today’s ultra competitive market it’s important to change the way companies, studios and stars reach fans — social media and tools like PornStarTweet give the industry all new methods to capture and sell potential audiences. When we launched we followed 17 porn stars — now it’s more than 650 — that demonstrates how powerful this medium is for the industry. Pure Play is a great sponsor for the entire network as their studios produce movies in every genre we promote," Housley said.
