Penthouse Club to Open in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — FriendFinder Networks Inc. on Monday said it is opening a 10,000-square-foot Penthouse Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The venue is located at the former Diamond Club Cabaret that has been remodeled with two bars and new VIP suites.

The Penthouse Club in Myrtle Beach shares ownership and management with The Penthouse Club in New Orleans, which has operated for more than four years. The clubs are operated by Kirkendoll Management LLC.

"I believe the Penthouse brand is the most-successful club concept in the world today," said John Kirkendoll, a 24 year veteran in the gentlemen's club industry.

Kirkendoll said it plans on opening its third Penthouse Club at an undisclosed location later this summer.

Jeff Stoller, director of licensing for Penthouse, said the Myrtle Beach location is a prime one.

"The new Penthouse Club inMyrtle Beach is not only a terrific new club, but it is also important because so many people visit Myrtle Beach and return home to talk about their experiences," he said. "We are confident that The Penthouse Club will be a positive part of that experience."

The Penthouse Club in Myrtle Beach is scheduled to open June 1. The club is located at 716 Seaboard St.
