Video Team Releases ‘Shelf Talkers’

CYBERSPACE — Video Team, a distributor of ethnic and all-girl adult DVDs, has introduced their new merchandising tool, "shelf talkers."

Video Team’s "shelf talkers" offer colorful signage without taking up valuable retail space, Video Team spokesperson Scott Hoover said. Hoover added the new product is meant to promote brand awareness and help direct consumer s to the product they may want to purchase or rent. "Shelf talkers" can be attached to any desired shelving or display system with self -adhesive backing strip.

“The idea is to help market the lines in a way that is easy for the retailer to use,” Hoover said.

The "No Man's Land" and "Afro-Centric Productions" versions each feature vibrant neon colors, while "Ethnicity Films" and "My Baby Got Back" use shiny silver foil lettering.

"Producers need to do anything extra they can to make their product stand out on the store shelf, and these will definitely be of use to us at the retail level,” General Video of America-Cleveland Debi Yoskey said. “If it's easy to use, looks attractive and helps sell product, we want it."
