TVGuideMagazine.com reports that Grey will play the long-term girlfriend of “Entourage” star Adrian Grenier’s character Vince Chase.
Grey is set to make her first appearance in the fifth episode of the new season, where she meets Chase at a bar, and will continue through the remainder of the season — possibly returning for the eighth and final season of “Entourage.”
The report goes on to say that the creator of “Entourage,” Doug Ellin, chose Grey after being impressed with her performance as the lead character in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience,” and developed the storyline around her.
“Sasha’s the biggest porn star in the world right now, and when Soderbergh casts her as the lead of his movie, I take notice,” Ellin told TVGuideMagazine. “I wouldn’t have done this storyline if Sasha passed. Luckily she was okay with doing it.”
Ellin also said that he was inspired by mainstream actor Charlie Sheen’s relationship with adult star Ginger Lynn while at the height of his career in the late ‘90s.
