We started these awards last year as we feel the main adult industry marginalizes our niche,” said Steven Gallon, Grooby Productions owner. “It's apparent by the chosen winners year after year, in the main award shows that their judges have very little understanding of transsexual porn, who or what is popular and what the buying public is looking at. These awards bring it back to the fans, with all fans being able to pre-nominate in each category and a panel of judges chosen from producers, models and fans, making the final choices.
“Running these awards allows us to give back something to the community of models and producers who keep this industry growing. We have cash awards for the main model categories and plenty of publicity for the other categories."
Transsexual models Hazel Tucker, Amy Daly, Olivia Love, Morgan Bailey, Yasmin Lee, Nataliaa Coxx, Kimberly Kills, Lucia Miel, Aly Sinclair are expected to be in attendance, among others, as well as producers, photographers and fans.
