XBIZ Awards Winners to Be Announced Real-Time on Twitter

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry professionals unable to attend the star-studded XBIZ Awards on Feb. 10 can turn to Twitter for real-time announcements revealing luminaries and power players taking home the coveted prize.

“As the industry source for the latest news in adult entertainment, XBIZ embraces the latest social media technologies in our effort to maximize our reach around the globe,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “By tapping into the power of Twitter, we’ll be keeping the adult entertainment community connected with up to the minute winner announcements from the biggest business awards show in the biz.”

With XBIZ on the Twitter scene, users of the microblogging site will also have the opportunity to interact and congratulate winners as they walk across the legendary Avalon Hollywood stage to accept their honors.

Taking place at the famous Avalon in the heart of Hollywood, the 2010 XBIZ Awards will be hosted by top stars Teagan Presley and Sunny Leone and will be attended by the industry A-list.
