Alec Helmy, Sunny Leone on Dave Navarro’s Radio Show Tonight

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Founder and President Alec Helmy will join leading adult star Sunny Leone, co-host of the upcoming XBIZ Awards, on alternative rock radio show “Dark Matter With Dave Navarro” tonight.

The show will stream live from 10 p.m. to midnight on Indie1031.com, and then archived at 6767.com.

“It’s not often that I get the opportunity to hang out with a guitar hero who also happens to be in-tune with the adult biz,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “I look forward to talking shop with Dave and giving his listeners the inside scoop on the latest happenings in the world of adult entertainment.”

His show “Dark Matter” is a mix of Navarro's favorite music, banter between hosts, guests and callers and the exploration of various topical issues.

Navarro’s rock stardom began as lead guitarist for legendary alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction. He also played alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers and enjoyed success as a solo artist. Most recently, he performs with cover band Camp Freddy.

In 2007, Navarro teamed with Teravision to direct his first adult movie “Broken,” which starred Sasha Grey. XBIZ recently announced he will be making a cameo appearance in the upcoming big-budget parody “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody.”

Leone, who in addition to appearing in several adult movies, websites and magazines also is the owner of production company Sunlust Pictures, has achieved mainstream success with her starring role in the FOX Reality series “My Bare Lady 2” and appearances on MTV India and E! Entertainment.

Leone is set to co-host the star-studded 2010 XBIZ Awards on Feb. 10 at the legendary Avalon Hollywood alongside Teagan Presley. The show is held in conjunction with the three-day XBIZ LA conference running Feb. 9-11.
