The Pleasure Chest has retail locations in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.
The donation will be given to Partners in Health, an organization that provides community-based health program in Haiti and worldwide.
Partners in Health offers services preventing common illnesses, HIV prevention and treatment. The organization established the world's first program to provide free, comprehensive HIV care and treatment in an impoverished setting. Haiti was the location of their pilot program, and it has been doing work there since 1998.
“Since 1971 Pleasure Chest has been dedicated to serving our communities, and at this time we wish to join the global community in giving what we can to aid the people of Haiti,” Pleasure Chest owner Brian Robinson said.
To contribute in Chicago, visit 3436 N. Lincoln Ave. The Pleasure Chest is open 10 a.m. to midnight.
In Los Angeles, Pleasure Chest is located at 7733 Santa Monica Blvd., in West Hollywood. The store is open 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
The Pleasure Chest New York is located at 156 Seventh Ave. The store is open 10 a.m. to midnight.
