Mile High Wins AEBN VOD Awards

MONTREAL — Mile High Media took home two 2009 AEBN VOD Awards. The company Sweetheart Films imprint won for Studio of the Year and Sweet Sinner’s "My Daughter's Boyfriend" won Best Feature Film.

"We are thrilled to win the AEBN awards for Best Studio and Best Feature Film, because these awards are completely authentic," Mile High Media owner Jon B said. "They're based on numbers and sales — no politics, no playing favorites."

Sweetheart Video, an all-girl studio founded by Mile High Media and writer/director Nica Noelle, is known for its authentic, passionate, storyline-driven films. The same principles were applied to boy/girl imprint Sweet Sinner, which debuted in March 2009 with "The Stepmother." Sweet Sinner was profiled on ABC's Nightline News as a cutting-edge company.

"Jon and I share a philosophy about the way adult films should be made," says director Noelle. "We knew there was an audience for well-written stories and passionate sex, but we didn't realize just how big the response would be."

AEBN’s video-on-demand library contains more than 100,000 films.

"We want to thank AEBN for the support they've shown us," Jon B said. “And, of course, all of our fans; we couldn't have done it without you."
