2010 XBIZ Awards Website Goes Live, Pre-nomination Period Begins

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is calling on the industry’s top businesses, studios and professionals to submit their nominations for the 2010 XBIZ Awards set for Feb. 10 in Hollywood, Calif.

This year, the XBIZ Awards are divided into three main categories: Web & Tech, Movies & Production and Novelty & Retail. In addition, there are prestigious awards given out in a series of Special Recognition categories.

The pre-nomination period for all categories is open until Dec. 9. The nominee list will be announced on Dec. 16.

Nomination submissions for the Web & Tech categories for the eighth annual XBIZ Awards are restricted to members of XBIZ.net, the adult entertainment industry’s No. 1-visited social network. To register, click here.

Studios, performers, retailers and toy companies eager to highlight award-worthy releases, performances and products in the Movies & Production and Novelty & Retail categories may submit pre-nominations by logging into XBIZ.net or via email to prenoms@xbiz.com.

XBIZ has added several prominent new categories to the Movies & Production side including Parody Release of the Year, New Studio of Year, Performer Comeback of the Year and Acting Performance of the Year both male and female.

The industry’s biggest business awards show, the annual XBIZ Awards are a symbol of excellence dedicated to honoring the most influential companies and performers that play an essential role in the growth and popularity of adult entertainment around the globe.

The ceremony will be held in conjunction with the XBIZ LA 2010 Conference, Feb. 9-11 at the Sofitel Hotel in Hollywood, Calif.
