This comes as no surprise to Scott Morgan, President and CEO of Platinum Media since he's been trying to make money using Mandi's experience in sales and marketing for the past year now. Michaels began working with the amateur production company when she turned 18 and appeared in her first Film "18 and Still in School." After 4 years and 37 movies later, she was presented with an opportunity to become part owner of the company's newly formed Distribution Company - Select Distributors.
Last week, with Lawyers and pen-in-hand, 23-year-old Mandi Michaels signed the paperwork giving her half-interest and full control of the distribution company. "It make me feel good that I am recognized for what I have between my ears" comments the young Executive VP while signing papers, "I think some of my friends only thought it was what I had between my legs that kept me employed."
It was agreed that although Mandi will not be appearing in any sex scenes produced by the company in the future, she will still appear in some of their promotional scenes and trade shows as needed. Scott Morgan has always supported the move and pushed for this change for the past year. His only comment at Press time was "She earned this and it's about time she turned in her toys... her damn batteries cost too much."
