Owner Dan Quinn and vice president Stuart Wall represented Smash in Germany. The company sponsored a huge 50-foot banner in front of the convention hall to help increase brand awareness.
The company, along with HotMovies.com, also sponsored hotel room keys with a Smash Pictures logo on every one at the Estrel Hotel.
“It was great having a big presence in Berlin and connecting with the buyers and creating new business partnerships,” Wall said. “It’s one thing to email people, but getting the chance to have a drink or dinner with folks that you’re doing business with puts a human touch on things and I think raises the chances of maintaining a successful operation.”
Wall reported that Smash Pictures struck new licensing deals in Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and more.

Smash Pictures’ next release is “Whale Tail 5” on Oct. 29.
