Zaye Entertainment Celebrates First Gay Anniversary

IRVINE, Calif. — One year ago, Richard Zaye had a dream. A gay dream. He turned that dream into a reality with the launch of the gay end of his successful film company Zaye Entertainment, which marked its first anniversary in the gay market this week.

The one-year milestone coincides with the company’s upcoming release of “Damian Ford in Argentina,” the second location-specific film from Zaye to feature the well-endowed actor.

Like the first, “Argentina” is being distributed through a joint effort with NorthStar Associates.

“Zaye puts a lot of time and money into these productions,” Michael Atkins, director of marketing for NorthStar Associates, said. “The first title that was released was ‘Damian Ford in Hawaii,’ and sales were fantastic, so what better way to anniversary a line than with the follow up?”

“Argentina” includes a two-disc set with several sex scenes, all filmed in Argentina. Atkins said several bonus features also are included in the package.

“We have been very pleased with the response to all of our gay titles thus far,” Atkins said. “The gay market is exploding and it is virtually untapped in many outlets.”

Shipping for “Argentina” is scheduled for Dec. 6 with a street date of Dec. 13.
