Maleflixxx Donates to Folsom Fund

TORONTO — Video-on-demand network Maleflixxx.tv has made a $1,000 donation to the Folsom Fund, which supports a variety of nonprofits focused on gay men's health issues.

The Folsom Fund was launched in 2007 as a partnership between all-male studio Titan Media and San Francisco-based nonprofit Folsom Street Events, which organizes several festivals including the Folsom St. Fair.

Maleflixxx made its donation via the "Community Giving" program administered by parent company Sureflix Digital Distribution.

"Sureflix has a proud tradition of supporting communities in which they operate," a site rep said. "In addition, we aim to support the efforts and charitable organizations of our partners."

Towards that end, Maleflixxx surveyed its members and found broad support for the Folsom Fund.

The annual Folsom St. Fair celebration is California's third-largest street festival and among the most heavily attended leather/fetish festivals in the world. The most recent Folsom St. Fair was held this past Sunday, Sept. 27.

"The Folsom St. Fair is always an extraordinary event that is dedicated to serving the alternative communities," said Sureflix President and CEO Eric Johnson.

"Maleflixxx is always pleased to donate to organizations that are continually giving back to the public and the Folsom Fund does exactly that."
