Paradise Visuals Returns … Again

LAS VEGAS — It’s been rough sledding for Paradise Visuals the past two years, but company co-owner Jason Green wants the industry to know that the classics outfit is back and plans to bring many of its titles onto DVD for the first time.

Since setting out to revive the company in 2005, Green and partner Greg Watkins started strong with the release of “Ginger Lynn: The Movie” and John Holmes’ final film, “The Devil In Mr. Holmes.”

Following those classic releases, the company filmed its first new production in more than 15 years titled “The Make Up,” directed by Green under the name Spencer Benedict.

After acquiring the distribution rights to “John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut” things went south.

“We made a deal with a company to distribute our titles and it was a waste of time and money to say the least. That deal all but killed Paradise Visuals for two years,” Green said of his distribution deal inked with Anabolic in 2007.

“We release these movies because we want preserve the classic history of the adult business. We are probably the only company left whose catalog has still never been released on DVD.”

To that end, Green has announced that Paradise Visuals plans to release more than 60 of its titles on DVD for the first time. The first of those titles is “Getting L.A.’d” starring Nina Hartley and Amber Lynn.

Since announcing plans in June to take distribution in-house, Green has secured the services of Paladin Video for distribution.

Green himself has kept busy writing and directing the latest movie from Sunny Leone’s SunLust Pictures, “Sunny’s Slumber Party.”

Currently Green is working on a new project with Leone and is planning a new Paradise Visuals feature. The company also is in the process of relaunching its website where all its classic films will be available for purchase.
