Euro Media Project Manager Hugo Harley said that Satyr Films' distinct take on guy-guy action attracted them to the deal.
“We see the Satyr line as an excellent addition to our slate of films,” he said. “In the DVD marketplace, their style and covers are instantly recognizable. We feel we can help them expand into additional markets. Their movies have become staples that every buyer wants to offer their customers.”
Satyr Films Executive Producers Chad Ryan and Nick Cutts said that since they founded their company, they've tried to push the envelope. Such attempts at envelope-pushing include the title "Bareback Pornstar Gangbang," which stars Alan Gregory, as well as other titles that explore the fetishes of gay sex.
"We were looking to get to the next level with regards to an international presence, and all roads led to Euro Media Distribution,” Ryan said. “They came highly recommended by many in the industry as a company with the highest of standards and a reputation for sales excellence. We are anticipating a long-term relationship where we can both grow tremendously."
Earlier this month, Euro Media Distribution rebranded itself. Its former name was Eurocreme USA.
