"Ramzi Abed has created this generation's ‘Decline of Western Civilization’ with his thoughtful and provocative look at the erotic-auteurs creating transgressive, countercultural art in a field primarily known for exploitation," Halo-8 President Matt Pizzolo said. "Unlike most filmmakers on either side of the Hollywood Hills, the artists Ramzi focuses on are young, risk-taking visionaries who are creating startlingly new and daringly confrontational visual stories that evoke a brash sensibility unique to the Internet-generation.'"
The film showcases altporn filmmakers Eon McKai, Kimberly Kane, Vena Virago, Dave Naz and Jack the Zipper. Erotic photographers Alexjandra Guerrero and Ed Fox also are featured.
The deal is the third between Halo-8 and Abed, following the 2008 release of the erotic-horror title “The Devil’s Muse” and the psychedelic-horror “In a Spiral State,” which streets Sept. 29.
