Bare Necessities Launches Lingerie.com

AVENEL, N.J. — Lingerie retailer Bare Necessities has entered the online market with the launch of Lingerie.com.

Lingerie.com offers babydolls, bustiers, teddies, garters and costumes from brands such as Leg Avenue, Shirley of Hollywood, Dreamgirl and Escante. Lingerie.com also will feature sexy plus-size lingerie and fabrications such as leather, lace, vinyl and sheer fabrics.

The company already operates a flagship site, BareNecessities.com, which features basic bras, lingerie, swimwear and underwear. The new site will feature a more provocative assortment of products.

"We are very excited to be able to reach a new online customer," said David Wauters, director of marketing for Bare Necessities. "We know that there is significant online demand for sexier lingerie styles and silhouettes than we offer on BareNecessities.com, so this new Internet store will enable us to satisfy that customer."
