Everhard, most recently employed by Red Light District, joins Evil Angel’s stable of contract directors that includes John Leslie, Rocco Siffredi, Joey Silvera, Jules Jordan, Nacho Vidal, Belladonna, Johnni Darko, Justin Slayer, Christoph Clark and company owner “Buttman” John Stagliano.
“Erik is a hard-working, good guy who I want to have at my company,” Stagliano said. “He is a great performer and a uniquely talented director. Gonzo is all about personality. Eric has an intense sexual persona that is at the same time likable.”
Everhard entered the adult entertainment industry in 1998 as a performer. After Everhard sent American studios a screener of himself doing Internet content work in Canada, director Jules Jordan gave him his “big break” in a title for Rosebud/Pleasure Productions. Everhard was so grateful for the opportunity that he worked for the price of a plane ticket to the shoot.
He made his directorial debut for Anabolic in 2001 before moving on to Red Light District, where he helmed 35 projects.
In his work for Evil Angel, Everhard plans on shooting at least a few titles in Eastern Europe and possibly Brazil as well, always maintaining his signature hard-tease style.
“I’ll be shooting more tease sequences, similar to and beyond what I’ve been doing for the past year,” he said. “I want to maintain the edginess while riding the fine line of not pushing the girl too hard.”
