Lucas Entertainment Ready to Go 'Inside Israel'

NEW YORK — Lucas Entertainment plans to capitalize on the momentum generated by its hit blue movie "Men of Israel" and return to the country for a new all-male production. "Inside Israel" is set to begin production in early October.

Recently signed exclusive Jonathan Agassi, a "Men of Israel" discovery, will anchor a cast of performers "from around the world," a studio rep said.

Director and company principal Michael Lucas will "continue the sexual exploration of the country that started with 'Men of Israel.' I'm looking for hot men from different companies to participate in this project," he said.

"I've already cast several newcomers in Israel and have models coming from both Western and Eastern Europe. This will also be my first trip to the country as an Israeli citizen."

A website for aspiring performers has been established at LucasCasting.com.

"Israel itself continues to offer a spectacular backdrop for filming," the rep said. "With its stunning landscapes and lush scenery, it provides a unique opportunity for outdoor shoots. Israel has great weather throughout the year."

Although Lucas' life is frequently chronicled in detail by the gay and gossip blogosphere, "Men of Israel" has become the rare gay-adult title to crack the pop-culture glass ceiling. It was the focus of a segment on the E! Entertainment late-night talk/comedy show "Chelsea Lately" as well as the subject of several ruminations on Jewish identity in pop culture in both the Los Angeles Times and Tablet magazine.

The two-disc "Men of Israel" Special Edition set was earlier this summer. The company has been uploading photo galleries, erotic vignettes and related collateral to its promotional microsite MenofIsraelXXX.com.
