"High Strung Women" explores "Kinbaku," the complex world of Japanese erotic rope bondage, in scenes filmed over a period of several years with a cast including many of the most recognizable performers in the industry.
"Filming a nude girl in bondage is a two-way pleasure," Blake said. "I enjoy the act of domination and the submissive state of my models. The rope impressions, after her release, that remain upon her skin in the most intimate areas of her body are always part of the turn-on."
Depicting a modern twist to the master/slave alliance, both director Blake and his willing subjects arrive at intimate sexual experiences with BDSM themes. Blake creates his stylized fetish scenarios utilizing "rope art" as a visually intricate tool of restraint. Master bondage rigger Damon Pierce has contributed his consummate skills, defined by specific patterns and decorative designs, to the production.
"High Strung Women" was produced, directed, photographed and edited by Andrew Blake. The cast includes Aria Giovanni, Faith Leon, Paola Rey, Elena Rivera, Justine, Courtney Page, Adriana Sage, Dahlia Grey, Cytherea, Melisande, Georgia Jones, Sasha Grey, Claire Adams, Emily Marilyn, Jade Starr, Rebeca Linares and Aaron Wilcox.
The film is shot in widescreen with 5.1 surround sound. The running time is 114 minutes. The DVD also includes three bonus behind the scenes featurettes.
