Channel 1 Releasing Touts 'Best of Dean Phoenix'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Popular performer Dean Phoenix is receiving his first compilation from Channel 1 Releasing. Also on tap are a black/Latino all-male sexfest and a 1992 Catalina Video sexpic starring Bo Summers.

"The Best of Dean Phoenix" collects a number of erotic vignettes drawn from the hunky performer's work with the studio: "Diggin' Deep" (2000), "Naughty & Nice" (2001), "Spiked" (1999) and "Untamed" (2000).

Also included is Phoenix's star-making turn in 1999's "God, Was I Drunk."

A bumper crop of popular late-'90s and early-'00s performers are featured: Tom Adams, Kyle Becker, Jeremy Brooks, Joey Hart, Michael Lofton, Zach Richards, Drew Peters, Spike and Nick Young.

Performers Rod Barry, Matt Summers and gay erotica legend Joey Stefano have also received C1R best-of compilations in recent weeks.

"Horny guys from New York City get together and compare their fat cocks" in "Black Jocks and Spanish Cocks," said a studio rep. "Black and Hispanic thugs from the 'hood — fucking and sucking is what they do best. New York 'Ricans and their buddies from Harlem make a nice match."

Helmer Ray Rock corralled a cast that includes singly named Angel, Carlos, Danny, D.C., Dee, Ed, Flaco, James, J.J., Mendo and Tim.

The film was originally produced and released by All Worlds Video in 2000.

Popular blond bodybuilder Bo Summers headlines "Body Masters" on the Catalina Video label. The sexpic was directed by Dillon Scott and originally released in 1992.

"This homage to the gym dudes of Southern California features a bevy of hot, muscular porn stars. It will get you pumping iron — and some other things."

Costars include Rob Cryston, Wes Daniels, Tony Fiero, Michael Howard, Kurt Manning, Randy Mixer and Al Rawlings.

All three films are set to ship August 11 for an August 18 release date. For wholesale-retail inquiries, visit C1R online or contact sales agents Andrew Quaintance (ext. 9526) or Anthony Nunez (ext. 9559) at (800) 997-9071.
