"The past year has been very exciting for everyone who worked so hard to make the Erotic Heritage Museum a reality," said Dr. Laura Henkel, director of art and associate curator. "We want to show our appreciation for the tremendous support we have received from the Las Vegas community, the adult industry, erotic artists and collectors from around the world.
"The anniversary celebration is a wonderful opportunity to bring all of our many supporters together to showcase our accomplishments and announce our plans for the museum in the year ahead."
The Erotic Heritage Museum is the creation of erotologist Harry Mohney and Dr. Ted McIlvenna of the Exodus Trust, a nonprofit California trust that owns and operates the museum. The museum encompasses more than 24,000 square feet of permanent and changeable exhibit space and places a special emphasis on the unfolding of the American sexual revolution of the 20th century.
Further details for the party have not been announced. The party will be held Sept. 12 at the Museum, which is located at 3275 Industrial Rd. in Las Vegas.
