Love Video Entertainment Looks to Make Stamp in Adult Arena

LOS ANGELES — Love Video Entertainment, a brand new production company, has been formed by three college-age entrepreneurs from Virginia — none of them over 20-years-old.

Despite being total newcomers to the world of adult entertainment, Love Video dove headfirst into production with an ambitious vignette-driven project lensed last month titled “The Love Cream Chronicles,” helmed by director Roy Karch and starring Sasha Grey, Nikki Benz, Kagney Linn Karter and Alexis Texas among other A-listers.

Avi, the 19-year-old president of the company, told XBIZ that he sees opportunity in the adult marketplace despite significant economic challenges and a changing distribution model. The other partners in the company are Vice President and former Marine Chris Cucumber and Sam, the production manager.

The trio has known each other for many years since their schoolboy days in Virginia. Interestingly none of the three have business or film backgrounds, just an eagerness to learn the business and a zesty entrepreneurial spirit.

“We had a business plan and wanted to jump in right away with a solid project featuring the biggest stars in the business,” Avi said. “It’s funny, the first time I was on set everyone thought I was a production assistant when it was in fact my movie. I know we’re new and really young, but we want to shoot some great content and have a lot of fun along the way.”

The company plans to use the young age of its principles to its advantage. Its second release, “Make Me A Porno,” features all POV blowjobs with a reality element — Avi and Cucumber stumble on set during the making of an adult movie.

“Adult entertainment is such a fun business to be in, old or young,” Avi said. “The level of professionalism is high in this business and we want to keep it up there. We’re going create plenty of original content because we’re coming from the outside, seeing what’s out there and bringing our own ideas and personalities into the mix. We’re going to keep moving forward.”

“Make Me A Porno” features Cindy Hope, Amy Brooks, Holly Heart, Tiffany Tyler and Ruby Reyes.

Future plans for the company call for the building of numerous gonzo series and a membership website.

“I don’t think in the history of this business has there been three guys at this age owning and running a full-scale production company. It’s unprecedented, actually,” LA Direct Models webmaster Simon Says told XBIZ. Says and the team at LA Direct have been helping Love Video Entertainment along the way after Avi reached out to them just as his company was getting off the ground. “I mean, these guys aren’t even 21 yet. They have a good sense of business, have their heads on straight, are very eager to learn and are genuinely excited to be here and be a part of this industry.”

Love Video Entertainment currently is in negotiations for a distribution deal.
