Good Vibrations Sets Independent Erotic Film Fest

SAN FRANCISCO — Bay Area adult retailer Good Vibration has announced its fourth annual Independent Erotic Film Festival will take place Sept. 12-17 in venues throughout San Francisco.

“Last year’s festival was standing room only and a huge success," Good Vibrations Festival Director Camilla Lombard said. "So much so that we decided we needed to expand it into more than a screening at the Castro. We are incredibly excited about the plethora of events we have planned for this year. And we are sure that San Franciscans will be, too.”

Events planned include a screening of Gerard Damiano's "The Devil in Miss Jones" with star Georgina Spelvin in attendance, a presentation of '20s peep show films hosted by Dr. Carol Queen, a screening of the documentary "BDSM: It’s Not What You Think" with filmmaker Erin Palmquist in attendance and a show of artists' embellishments of plaster casts of the April Flores Voluptuous CyberSkin Love Toy, with artists in attendance.

The finale, on Sept. 17, is a screening of the winners of the 2009 IXFF Independent Erotic Film competition and after-party.

The festival is co-presented by adult toy distributor Vibratex.
