“The price of college in California is rapidly going up,” company Founder Kat said. “We value education and want to help our models stay in school.”
Kat worked fulltime in the legal and human resources fields while attending University of California, San Diego and wants to make SoCalGlamourGirls the best place for bikini model jobs and webcam girl jobs in California, she said.
According to the company, about 50 percent of the site’s bikini models attend college fulltime within the California State System.
“Budget cuts at the state level have increased tuition and fees, at precisely the same time the economic downturn has made high paying waitress and bartender jobs harder to find,” Kat said.
SoCalGlamourGirls’ tuition reimbursement program requires models to work part-time (20 hours per week) for a year, and can take four weeks of vacation. Then, SoCalGlamourGirls will pays 25 percent of her tuition as long as she continues to pass her classes and work 20 hours a week.
“We have a real sense of community among our models,” Kat said. “Helping them graduate is an important part of how us girls support each other. It is great to be a hot, naughty girl. But, it is also important to have your stuff together and prepare for the future by getting the best education possible.”
