Channel 1 Releasing Boosts Lex Baldwin, Rod Barry

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A Rod Barry compilation, a Catalina Video re-release featuring erotic idol Lex Baldwin and an all-black sexfest are among the latest blue movies from production and distribution house Channel 1 Releasing.

Fan-favorite performer Rod Barry debuted in 1996 as a protégé of All Worlds Video founder Dirk Yates and went on to a prolific adult career in a variety of genres.

"The Best of Rod Barry" collects six vignettes from his mid- to late-'90s output: "Beach Buns" (1997), "Beach Head" (1998), "Gold Diggers" (1997), "Just You and I" (1996), "Mantasy Island" (1998) and "X-Press Male" (1997).

Featured costars include Sam Dixon, El Greco, Colin Jennings, Dax Kelly, Logan Reed and Luke Walker.

Popular '90s erotic idol Lex Baldwin is featured in "King of the Mountain," a Catalina Video sexpic originally released in 1992. It was directed by C1R principal Chi Chi LaRue.

Featured players include Robbie Anderson, Tony Dalton, Damien, Johnny Rahm, Tad Winslow and Ryan Yeager.

Storyline centers on the sexcapades of gay-straight roommates played by Yeager and Baldwin.

C1R also has "Black Photoshoot, Vol. 2" on tap. This all-black solo wankfest was helmed by Ron Rico for Big City Video and originally released in 2001. The first installment in the series hit retail shelves in June.

Volume 2 features "ebony studs whipping it out and showing you their hefty hogs," the studio said. "Horny exhibitionists pump their cocks in front of a photographer and shoot knowing that they're getting you off. A must for lovers of hung, sexy African-American studs."

Castmates include Alejandro, I.B Freaky, Junior, Nature, Polo, Ramon and Jay Tiger.

All three blue movies are set for release on July 21. For wholesale-retail inquiries, visit C1R online or contact sales agents Andrew Quaintance (ext. 9526) or Anthony Nunez (ext. 9559) at (800) 997-9071.
