Channel 1 Releasing Pumps 'Taken' Microsite

SAN FRANCISCO — Production and distribution house Channel 1 Releasing has launched a promotional microsite and VOD theater for its big-budget BDSM blue movie "Taken: To the Lowest Level."

C1R.com/Taken features "embeddable trailers, cast interviews, photos, BTS videos, promotional web banners and desktop wallpaper," a site spokesperson said.

Web surfers may purchase the DVD directly or opt for VOD. The microsite also offers links to the Director's Cut version fully loaded with fetish play as well as the tamer Expanded Edition. Both versions are two-disc sets featuring six scenes and bonus materials.

"The 'Taken' VOD theater is a key promotional tool for both consumers and affiliates," the site rep said. "It provides interactive material and sticky content for affiliates to send traffic and earn an unprecedented 50 percent VOD payout plus 35 percent on any additional tangibles purchased through the C1R online store."

"Webmasters who utilize the 'Taken' VOD theater will be locked in for a permanent 50 percent payout on all future VOD sales."

"Taken" is toplined by performers Phillip Aubrey, Adam Killian and Mitchell Rock.

Featured players include C1R exclusives Jeremy Bilding, Johnny Hazzard and Blake Riley with Luke Cassidy, Derek da Silva, Zane Jacobs, Zack Jamison, Lucas Knowles, Chad Manning, Dominic Pacifico, Shane Risk, Tyler Saint, David Taylor, Diesel Washington and Josh West.

Cast members and LaRue have been making the promo rounds, including meet-and-greets last weekend in conjunction with Los Angeles gay pride.

"In Chi Chi's dirtiest and nastiest leather/fetish film to date, Adam drags Phillip on an exploration of the dark side of sex," the rep said. "Phillip begins his journey as an outsider, but quickly finds himself amidst the filth and kink of Chi Chi LaRue's imagination as he develops his inner pig."

The kink menu includes "autoerotic asphyxiation, dildos, flogging, hot wax, piss, cum-eating, enemas and domination."
