AIM: 'Patient Zero' Worked With 37-Day-Old Test

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Adult Industry Medical Healthcare has reported in a statement that "Patient Zero" performed with a 37-day-old test, which is longer than most production companies will accept.

The statement said that Patient Zero was tested on Thursday, June 4, a routine test, following her last test on April 29. Results of the June 4 test were received on June 6, but she performed in a scene on June 5, before the test results were back.

Production companies have told XBIZ that they accept tests in a range from 10-30 days.

In the statement, AIM also said, "Due to the early detection nature of our testing, and the low price, and 24-hour-turnaround time for results, the general public will utilize our services. If and when these patients come back positive, they are always reported to the county health department in a timely manner, after confirmatory tests results are in our files."

AIM said that the people who tested positive through its facility never performed in the adult industry, which is why their positive tests were not publicized.

"All cases were reported, and referred for treatment. AIM continues to follow reporting regulations and does so to the county Health Department, as well as refers positive patients for desired treatment," AIM said.
