Paroled Mark Dalton Resumes XXX Career

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Bodybuilder and gay adult performer Mark Dalton has announced the resumption of his erotic career following his parole earlier this year. Dalton will first headline a string of personal appearances and make himself available for private fan meetings, with film plans to be determined.

“My little break gave me a chance to refresh my mind, get my body in the finest shape it’s ever been and to reconfirm my focus for this period in my life. Onward and upward,” said Dalton in a statement released by his longtime manager, David Forest.

Forest termed Dalton’s forthcoming meet-and-greets as the “Busting Out All Over Tour” with venues and dates to be announced as they are confirmed. The private fan meetings are currently taking place only in Dallas.

Despite having anchored only a relative handful of solo vignettes and body worship videos, Dalton is one of gay adult’s most popular personalities, famed for his blond good looks and muscular frame.

The performer is open to appearing onscreen if the financial and creative elements are favorable, and “as long as producers don’t start off with a 20-minute lecture about how the business has changed,” Forest said. “They can call me with their ideas. Mark’s film sales have more than proven that he is more powerful than a locomotive.”

“I think Mark is the epitome of an American porn star,” Forest told XBIZ. “The fact that he has still not done gay sex on film makes him an even bigger commodity. His live performances are second to no one.”

“And for whatever reason, the public just loves a survivor, like Mark.”

Dalton, 29, was at the height of his fame two years ago when he was arrested following a May 2007 altercation that violated the terms of an existing probation agreement related to a 2004 arrest and conviction.

He was charged with two misdemeanors, pled guilty and served 90 days in jail and was returned to the Mineral Wells (Texas) Parole Confinement Facility to await sentencing for his parole violations. He was subsequently denied parole in January 2008.

In late January this year, the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice Parole Board approved his petition. Forest told XBIZ that Dalton is allowed to travel on business. “Mark has permission from his parole officer to go wherever he needs to go for work,” Forest said. “We just have to advise the parole officer in advance. They are being just as sweet as before.”

Dalton was last onscreen in 2007’s “Mark Meets Zeb: The Texas Two-Step” for Zeb Atlas Productions and Marina Pacific Distributors, and “Super Soaked” (2005) for Falcon Entertainment subsidiary label Jocks Studios.
