XBIZ Summer Forum to Host XXX Iron Man Boat Races

LOS ANGELES — XXX Iron Man Boat Races will once again cause a frenzy poolside at the highly anticipated 2009 XBIZ Summer Forum, taking place June 3-5 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Two teams of five will line up facing each other, each player holding a full glass of beer. At the word, “Go!” each player will one by one chug his or her beer until the glass is completely empty, and the first team to finish chugging first wins.

Event organizer Jack Avalanche told XBIZ that any spillage will result in a penalty chug post-game.

"We're happy that XXX Iron Man Boat Races are coming back to the Summer Forum," XBIZ Associate Publisher Kristen Kaye said. "If you haven't secured a team yet, you'd better get a move on. The event is right around the corner, and I hear there are some stellar beer-guzzlers teaming up to win the grand prize!”

Avalanche said the competition will take place in bracket formation, and double elimination is possible depending on the final number of teams. The winning team will win $1,000 cash and trophies.

The preliminary round will take place June 3 at 3 p.m., and semifinals and finals will take place June 4 at 3 p.m. All rounds will be viewable poolside.

Current team captains include Kristen Kaye of XBIZ, Meeper of HustlerCash, Jeff of VideoSecrets, and Ryulion of LatinDollars. Secure a spot at XXXIronMan.com. Event sponsors include NationalNet, Epoch, Cold Hard Cash, Spunky Cash, Metro, and CherryPimps.

The XBIZ Summer Forum ‘09 is the season’s most talked-about industry show, held at the infamous Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino — the hottest hotel to mix business and a little rock ‘n’ roll.
