Depth had been distributing movies through Juicy Video, but decided to make the move after Critical X approached him with a proposal to utilize Depth's already popular brand to build that of the new distribution arm.
"DEF is about my vision of sex, and what I believe people are searching for at the video store," Depth said. "The key is entertainment. We have fun in our movies, capture some great sex, but we also incorporate lots of comedy, original sketches, and music from upcoming artists. We know you can see naked people anywhere. We are offering a product you can watch with your crew, your girlfriend, or by yourself and never fast-forward."
The sequel to his all-interracial debut, "Capital Punishment 2," will hit stores on Nov. 1, distributed by Critical X.
Depth will continue to produce the "Miss Phat Booty" and "Spinal Tap" series under the DEF label as well.
