HDNet Movies to Air ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ Tonight

LOS ANGELES — HDNet Movies will air a sneak preview tonight of the “The Girlfriend Experience,” two days prior to its national theatrical release.

The sneak preview is free to HDNet Movies subscribers and will air at 5 p.m. (PDT), with encore presentations at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., as well.

HDNet Movies is available on Comcast, Time Warner, Cablevision, Charter, Cox, Verizon, Brighthouse, Insight Communications and RCN.

The Steven Soderbergh-directed movie, running 1 hour, 17 minutes, stars adult star Sasha Grey as Chelsea, an upscale Manhattan call girl who provides more than just a sexual encounter; for a price, she'll simulate a complete romantic relationship — a girlfriend "experience."

“The Girlfriend Experience” is rated R.
