Webmaster Access L.A. Day 2: Special Report

LOS ANGELES — The first official day of Webmaster Access L.A. is coming to a casual and leisurely end as attendees switch from seminar/networking mode and get ready for dinner and drinks.

Seminars were moderately attended as local L.A.-folk strolled into the hotel after spending the morning at their respective offices, hoping to accomplish as much as possible before spending the rest of the day with out-of-town colleagues.

XBIZ Speed Networking was the hit of the daytime events, and the packed room of 40 members of the affiliate, GLBT, production and marketing sides of adult could be heard from down the hall.

Attendees anxiously traded their last business cards before making their way to the poolside buffet lunch, where all were treated to complimentary Mexican fare. Business deals and evening plans were finalized over guacamole and Coronas.

Show-goers are spending the next few hours making their own schedules and enjoying the sunny Southern California weather until the official kick-off party, hosted by Cybersocket and presented by Epoch, takes place at 9 p.m. at Boulevard Lounge in West Hollywood, Calif.

Shuttles from the show hotel leave starting at 8:30 p.m., so don’t be late!
