Vivid Offers Miss California $1M for Porn Role

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment’s Steven Hirsch has made another $1 million offer. This time to Carrie Prejean, also known as Miss California.

Just days after a Prejean topless photo surfaced on TheDirty.com, Vivid decided to offer Prejean up to $1 million to star in a video.

“We watched the Miss USA Pageant with great interest and applaud you on your competitive spirit, talent and beauty,” Hirsch said in a letter to Prejean.

“We are aware of the controversy caused by your statement about same-sex marriages as well as your concern about the topless photos of you that have appeared online. Our studio is known for high-quality adult films, and we are offering you up to $1 million to star in one of our upcoming movies.

"This is purely a business offer and has nothing to do with your religion or your personal beliefs. It could be an opportune way for you to benefit from your recent exposure and we believe this experience could be an important step for you towards expanding your horizons.”

Should Prejean accept the studio's offer, Hirsch said, her movie would be distributed under the Vivid-Celeb imprint, which is known for titles starring such personalities as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Kim Kardashian and Ray J, Jimi Hendrix and Vince Neil, among others.

"A movie with Vivid-Celeb could be an important step for her towards expanding her horizons," Hirsch said.

After TheDirty published Prejean's photo Tuesday, three more semi-nude photos have surfaced on the web.

Prejean had told pageant officials that the picture, revealing her only in pink panties, was the only one that existed.

"This was when I was 17 years old," she wrote in an email published by TMZ. "I was a minor. It was when I was first getting into the modeling world, being naive, and young. I shouldn’t have taken the photo of me in my underwear. There are no other photos of me. This was the only one I took."
