ASACP PSAs to Screen at EXXXotica Miami

LOS ANGELES — Attendees at next week’s EXXXotica Miami Beach will see ASACP’s public service announcements promoting the Restricted To Adults — RTA website label. In addition, LiveAdultAuctions.com will donate a portion of its memorabilia auction proceeds to ASACP.

“Once again EXXXotica Miami is happy to support ASACP and their cause," EXXXotica Miami Beach Director J. Handy said. "We recognize the importance of protecting the welfare of our children and we’re happy to help any way we can.”

The event will run the RTA PSAs throughout the show, featuring adult performers encouraging parents to use parental filtering software to protect their children from viewing age-inappropriate content. The five videos in the ongoing series feature Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld, Catalina Cruz, Stormy Daniels, Chi Chi LaRue and Sunny Leone.

“Although ASACP was unable to send a representative to the event we are grateful that event organizers have offered to show the RTA PSAs to the attendees.” ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said. “This really helps our efforts to educate people about ASACP and remind parents to utilize parental filtering software.”

Stephen Bugbee will be introducing the new LiveAdultAuctions.com site at EXXXotica Miami and is donating part of its auction proceeds to ASACP. The auction will feature actual movie props, costumes and other memorabilia from adult movie sets.

"Like Hillary Clinton said in 1996, 'We have learned that to raise a happy, healthy and hopeful child, it takes a family, it takes teachers, it takes business people, it takes community leaders, it takes those who protect our health and safety, it takes all of us'" Irvine told XBIZ. "I want to thank EXXXotica Miami and LiveAdultAuctions.com for taking on the responsibility that comes with the role of a business and community leadership by raising awareness of and funds for ASACP and its mission to protect children."

The fourth annual installment of EXXXotica Miami Beach, presented by Hotmovies.com, will be held in South Beach at the Miami Beach Convention Center May 8-10. Calling itself the East Coast's largest adult-themed consumer show, EXXXotica features personal appearances by adult entertainment performers, exhibits of adult products and services, live entertainment stage, educational seminar series and contests.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
