Digital Playground Tops Winners List at NightMoves Awards

TAMPA BAY, Fla. — NightMoves Magazine held its annual awards show over the weekend, with more than 35 adult stars in attendance. Ron Jeremy, Sean Michaels, Adam & Eve contract star Carmen Luvana and Digital Playground star Jesse Jane co-hosted the event, and awards were presented based on both fan balloting and editors’ choices.

Digital Playground led the way with six awards. For the second straight year, the company was honored with the fans’ choice for Best Production Company while director Bobby D’s "Jack’s Playground" was the fans’ choice for Best All-Sex or Series. Bobby D’s first feature film, "Contract Star," was named editors’ choice for “Best Feature Production.”

Digital Playground’s Celeste was the fans’ choice for “Best New Director” and publicist Adella O’Neal was given a special award for “Industry Excellence” to acknowledge her work in public and media relations.

Company founder Joone’s lavish, big-budget production, “Pirates,” received a the fans’ choice award in a new category, “First Choice.”

“Each of these awards represents the endless hours put in by our team,” said Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis. “Our synergy this year is unbelievable, and it’s an honor to oversee such a diligent crew.”

Others taking home awards included:

  • Club Jenna, editor’s choice, Best Production Company;
  • Gina Lynn Productions, fans’ choice, and Acid Rain Productions, editors’ choice, Best New Produstion Company;
  • Club Jenna/Vivid Video, fans’ choice, Best Feature Production for “The Masseuse”;
  • Red Light District, editor’s choice, Best All-Sex or Series for “Anal Expedition”;
  • Adam & Eve contract star Carmen Luvana, fans’ choice, and Vivid Girl Savanna Samson, editors’ choice, Best Actress;
  • Wicked Pictures star Keri Sable, fans’ choice, and Sunny Lane, editors’ choice, New Starlet;
  • Evil Angel’s Jon Stagliano, fans’ choice, and Michael Ninn, editors’ choice, Best Director;
  • Wicked Pictures' Stormy Daniels, editor’s choice, Best New Director;
  • Tyler Faith, fans’ choice, and Lexi Lamour, editors’ choice, Best Feature Entertainer;
  • Ninn Worx, editor’s choice, First Choice Award for “Catherine.”
  • “It’s an honor to be chosen,” said Acid Rain owner Mitchell Spinelli of his company’s selection as Best New Production Studio. “With so many companies putting out great work, to receive this award is extremely exciting.”

    Adult photographer and director Suze Randall was honored with a special Lifetime Achievement Award. Her daughter and collaborator Holly was on hand to pick up the award on behalf of her mother.
