Platinum Media Picked Up By Full-X TV

WATERVILLE, Maine — European satellite porn provider Full-X TV is going to a little town in Maine for its latest content offering.

The Amsterdam-based company, which offers four 24-hour international TV channels dedicated to adult content, has signed a deal with Waterville-based Platinum Media to broadcast Platinum’s amateur product line of adult videos.

Officials at Platinum said Full X-TV Director Ronny Lemega approached them in September expressing interest in adding the amateur line to his company’s 2005-2006 line up.

Although the companies have yet to decide what specific films will be licensed, it is likely that several movies from Platinum’s feature cover girl, Mandi Michaels, will be selected in the deal.

“I'm just a small-time Maine girl,” said Michaels. “Now I'm going to be up in space getting beamed into peoples houses. How cool can this be?”

Full-X TV reportedly has over 1.8 million viewers. Its channels are edited by Netherlands-based NederSat TV and are currently available in Europe, North Africa and much of the Middle East.

Prior to the deal, Platinum’s only European distribution was through Nova Film and Video out of Germany.
