ILS, Storerotica Announce Combined Fall Trade Show

LAS VEGAS — The International Lingerie Show (ILS) has combined forces with adult retail convention and trade show, Storerotica, to make attending both events more economical for attendees.

The merger makes Storerotica’s What’s New Marketplace Show the largest trade show for the intimate apparel and soft adult products industries.

The combined show takes place Sept. 21-23 at the Rio Hotel & Casino.

Event organizers say the merger means more vendor booths, more attendees, more evening events, a series of educational panel sessions and an annual industry awards show.

The bi-monthly adult retail focused Storerotica magazine also will conduct its own seminars aimed at store owners.

“We are very excited that Jeff Yunis and Michael Moreira have agreed to have Storerotica, as both an industry magazine and convention, be a part of the ILS program,” Storerotica magazine Publisher Don Waitt said. “It just makes sense to combine our forces and give this industry a conference that offers both buyers and exhibitors the most comprehensive and exciting agenda possible.”

The new convention will be promoted at a booth during the Spring ILS Show taking place at the Rio from April 20-22.

“We have long been interested in expanding our ILS tradeshow to include conference types of activities like panel sessions and workshops,” ILS’ Moreira said. “And we know that Storerotica, which has long been a supporter of our show and of the industry, will deliver this new component to the ILS Fall show.”

Last November, parent company ED Publications announced that Teeze magazine and Adult Store Buyer had merged into one publication, Storerotica magazine.
