Maleflixxx Names People's Choice Nominees

TORONTO — Gay adult video-on-demand network Maleflixxx.tv has announced its 2009 Maleflixxx People's Choice Award nominees. The winner will be announced during the 2009 Grabby Awards in Chicago at the end of May.

"The Maleflixxx People's Choice Award nominees are selected through viewer response, overall production quality and the strength of each production's erotic content," the company said.

The first five nominees are: "Couples III" (Colt Studio Group), "Cuma Sutra" (Black Scorpion Entertainment), "Dreams of Rafael" (Black Scorpion), "Fear" (Titan Media) and "Jockstrap" (Hot House Entertainment).

The remaining nominees are "Musclemen Moving Company, Inc. 2" (Big Blue Productions), "Navy Blues" (Centaur Films), "Rocks and Hard Places" (Sarava Productions), "The Intern" (Lucas Entertainment”) and "The Men I Wanted" (Lucas Kazan Productions).

"This is a great opportunity to not only recognize some of the top studios in the industry, but to also acknowledge the amazing fans that support their work," said Eric Johnson, president and CEO of Maleflixxx parent company, Sureflix Digital Distribution.

Maleflixxx viewers may view and vote for their favorite video through April 30. Non-members may sign up for a free account to cast their vote.

It is the fifth year the company has offered a People's Choice Award. Last year's winner was "Breathless" from Titan Media.

Maleflixxx recently won an XBIZ Award as GLBT Web Company of the Year, while Sureflix was nominated as VOD Company of the Year.
