“I had a great time at the last AdultCon [in May] and couldn’t believe how many fans came up to me and tried to grab my boobs,” said Rears. “My name’s ‘Rears’ not ‘Spears.’”
Rears will make her appearance after a planned meeting with retailers at the Adult SuperSource open house in San Francisco on Friday. She is scheduled to meet fans at AdultCon from 2-9 p.m. on Saturday and from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday.
“This is a great way for the fans to get up close and meet with our greatest movie stars,” AdultCon organizer Renaud West said. “Britney Rears is really great and her [debut film] ‘Britney Rears: Wild Back Stage Sex Party’ is really funny.”
Representatives at VCA Pictures, which released Rears’ first film, called it one of the year’s best selling porn DVDs.
“This is our No. 1 selling title period and it keeps on selling as more and more people find out about her,” Peter Reynolds, vice president of sales and marketing for VCA Pictures said. “I just can’t wait until the sequel comes out, because it’s going to be huge.”
Reynolds said viewers could look for Larry Flynt’s private jet in the sequel, which the porn giant apparently offered to Rears for use during her vacation. Rears, reportedly shocked by the offer, asked if the jet could be used for the sequel instead.
Reynolds said the sequel is expected to hit shelves in January of 2006.
