According to the company, the movie was filmed at LFP Studios with a set that included grass huts, tiki torches and other recognizable island gadgets that the original series was known for. Scenes also were shot on-location at a private pond in the San Fernando Valley to simulate an island.

“We really wanted to make sure that all our I’s were dotted and T’s were crossed with this one,” Creative Director Drew Rosenfeld said. “The opening sequence and music mirrored the original as much as possible to give our viewers the true Hustler parody experience.”
The movie’s cast includes Anthony Rosano as Gilligan, Ryder Skye as Ginger, Sindee Jennings as Mary Ann, Jack Lawrence as The Professor, Rod Fontana as The Skipper, Darryl Hanah as Mrs. Howell and Dick Nasty as Thurston Howell III, along with performances by Voodoo, Evan Stone, Regan Reese and Jason Silver.
