Hustler Video is ‘Keeping It Up For the KardASSians’

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. —The porn parody train keeps rolling with Hustler Video’s latest, “Keeping It Up For the KardASSians,” a take-off on the Kardashian family’s reality show on E! Entertainment Television.

For this release, Hustler tried a new distribution tactic. It went web-exclusive, debuting the movie on the Internet months before the DVD hits retail store shelves.

The adult movie does parallel some familiar elements of the TV show and even re-creates Kim Kardashian’s sex tape with R&B singer Ray J, a reality show star himself now. The plot follows Kim as she deals with fallout from her sex tape, sister Kourtney discovers her boyfriend’s infidelities, other sister Khloe deals with her budding lesbian tendencies and mom Kriss explores her sexuality.

Veronica Rayne, who plays Kim, is no stranger to reality TV herself. The brunette appeared on the last season of the FOX Reality Channel’s “My Bare Lady.”

“It’s all in good fun. The show is very pop culture and easily ripe for lampooning,” said Rayne. “I really had a lot of fun playing the Kim character and I hope she gets a chance to watch the DVD. Maybe we can compare moves.”

However, the Kardashian family isn’t laughing. Sources told TMZ.com that the Kardashian family and E! Entertainment are considering suing Hustler.

Kim Kardashian intially sued Vivid Entertainment over the distribution of her sex tape, "Kim Kardashian Superstar," before settling for a reported $5 million.

“Keeping It Up For the KardASSians” also stars Nicki Hunter as mom Kris Jenner, Missy Stone as Khloe KardASSian and and Dylan Ryder as Kourtney KardASSian.
