Barcelona Summit Set for June 15-17

BARCELONA — The first Barcelona Summit, calling itself the first major international conference for the adult online industry in Europe, has been set for June 15-17 in Barcelona.

"This initiative has created great response. The Barcelona Summit will really kickstart European networking," Summit spokesman Walter Russak told XBIZ. "For increasing your brand awareness in Europe, this is the event."

The Summit has invited adult Internet professionals from Spain, France, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Russia, the U.S. and other markets. Organizers promise "an exciting learning experience, top-class facilities and a spectacular venue to achieve their business goals."

Events are still being planned, and organizers are inviting registered attendees to suggest panel and workshop topics. Organizers also are offering to serve as liaisons for attendees who want to make contact with professionals in other countries.

"We want you to finish our event with a suitcase full of new contacts, not just meeting the same ones time after time," according to the press materials.

The event will be held at the ME Barcelona hotel. A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at $189 per night.
