For her first book of which she is credited as a co-author along with R Richard, Thomas decided to take a different tack than the autobiographies that have been penned by porn stars. “Anatomy of Adult Film” is a work of erotica-fiction that bases its stories from the real life experiences of Thomas.
News of the deal comes at a time when Hustler Video released Thomas’ final adult movie this month.
“R Richard is a master craftsman and I’m the ultimate adult industry insider,” Thomas said. “The fact that my final film, ‘Into the Sunset,’ was just released by Larry Flynt Productions makes this entire project cosmically fitting.”
Richard has penned six erotica-fiction novels including “Amateur Stripper” and “Tails of the Pussycat Lounge.”
“Not only is she working with a much published author, but R Richard, like Sunset, is a uniquely eccentric virtuoso,” Thomas’ publicist Kent Wallace said. “Furthermore, this isn’t an autobiography, which it seems every porn star has penned. This is a literary work — a combination of fiction and erotica borrowing from the realities of the industry Sunset has been a significant member of for close to 20 years.”
World Audience imprint Shiboleth Press published the book, which is available to pre-order now. New York-based World Audience is a boutique publishing house that’s released close to 150 books.
