Good Vibrations Offering Online Adult Retail Education

SAN FRANCISCO — Adult boutique retailer Good Vibrations is now offering a new online interactive learning program for adult product sales personnel, Good Vibrations University (GVU).

GVU was created by Good Vibrations Educational Program Manager Dr. Charlie Glickman, who constructed the Sex Education Sales Associate Training program for Good Vibrations employees. He has a Ph.D. in Adult Sexuality Education and has spent almost a decade assisting customers in Good Vibrations stores.

"Excellent training gives staff the information and the confidence they need to help customers find the right products and increase sales," Glickman said. "I designed GVU to bring my extensive experience at Good Vibrations, and our more than 30 years in the industry, to retailers and pleasure party consultants."

The six webinar modules involve Sexual Anatomy, Vibrators, Dildos & Harnesses, Lubricants & Condoms, Anal Sex & Toys and Sex-Positive Sales Techniques, with a primary goal to help retailers and pleasure party providers increase their sales, boost seller confidence, and improve the quality of the information offered to customers.

GVU happens in real time and is interactive. Users need Internet access and can access the simultaneous teleconference by telephone or with a USB microphone using VOIP. There’s also a chat function, so users can ask questions via instant message. Glickman will provide answers to questions and offer suggestions tailored to questioners' specific needs.

Through March 31, individual GVU sessions are $75 each; the series of six is available for $400. After that, each individual GVU session costs $100, or the series of six webinars can be purchased for $500. Once payment has been confirmed, participants receive an email with the link to the webinar. If a telephone connection is needed, the number to call and access code for the teleconference is also provided.
