DailyTang.com Launches 200th Episode

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — DailyTang.com, a sex blog featuring videos and porn coverage, recently launched its 200th episode.

"I think the site covers this general trend of seeing more and more content going online as far as the TV show format is concerned," Producer Jim DeSade told XBIZ. "Now with more and more people having broadband connections, we can just watch a TV show or channel on the web. I think this is the future of news media."

In addition to offering topless newscasts, which DeSade calls a "logical progression" for DailyTang.com, the site is "also unique in that we are reading news off the teleprompter in traditional show format, and I think we're the only show doing that. It also gives our affiliates an opportunity to present their content in a unique format."

Veronika Raquel, one of three hosts who anchors the newscasts and introduces video clips and news stories, added that, "The adult industry is so huge it's time we had our own version of 'The Insider.'"

Raquel's fellow hosts are Dita Rose and Jackie Eden.

DailyTang.com offers free content to its users, who also have the option of leaving comments on news stories, follow links to other stories and view past content in its archives.

"We're not a huge company by any means," DeSade said. "It's just myself and one web developer who helps me with the coding. The girls are all freelance, and we have a freelance camera guy who comes in, but sometimes I shoot the content myself. So we're looking for talent and fresh faces all the time. We're definitely a small, small company that's trying to get some national recognition, which we have to a certain degree."
