Beau Breedlove Poses Nude for Unzipped Mag

LOS ANGELES — Beau Breedlove, the young administrative aide at the center of a recent sex scandal involving Portland, Ore. mayor Sam Adams, accepted an offer to appear on the cover and pose nude for gay adult magazine Unzipped.

Breedlove received financial compensation, an Unzipped source told XBIZ, but the amount has not been revealed; he was photographed this past weekend in Los Angeles by Edendale Studios.

Adams, 45, imperiled his political career and ignited a national scandal when it was revealed that he had conducted a sexual relationship in 2005 with Breedlove, a mayoral intern who was then 18 years old.

Adams has admitted to initially covering up the true nature of their relationship. Both have maintained that Breedlove, now 21, was legally of age when their trysts turned intimate. Adams had considered stepping down, but recently announced he would stay in office.

At the height of the scandal in late January, Unzipped Media publicly tendered an offer to Breedlove to appear on the cover and pose for a nude layout in Men, Freshmen or Unzipped magazines.

"In sharp contrast to the mayor, our site's visitors are being extremely vocal about their desire to both see and hear from Mr. Breedlove, the nation's newest most notorious intern," said Unzipped editorial director David Kalmansohn.

"Beau came to L.A. to prove that the Portland scandal does not define his sexuality," Unzipped online editor Sean Carnage Advocate.com. "The photos portray the real Beau — a confident and extremely handsome young man who is openly sensual, openly sexual and has nothing to hide."

The May 2009 edition of Unzipped featuring Breedlove will go on sale mid-April.
