Dorcel, Sureflix Pact With Deutsche Telekom

PARIS and TORONTO — A freshly struck distro pact between French adult powerhouse Video Marc Dorcel and Canadian video-on-demand network Sureflix Digital Distribution will provide all-male content to be delivered through a variety of VOD platforms and services owned by German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom.

The deal covers VOD content as well as IPTV and mobile phone delivery. A pre-existing relationship between the Dorcel and Sureflix led to the new distro pact.

"It is a privilege to be working with Deutsche Telekom and Sureflix, both of which are the very best companies in the world in their respective fields," Dorcel CEO Gregory Dorcel said.

"Deutsche Telekom partners only with the strongest content providers such as Dreamworks, Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox. Both Marc Dorcel and Sureflix will be strong additions to an already exemplary list of distributors as we are committed to providing the very best gay content."

Sureflix is "constantly evolving" its delivery methods, said company principal Eric Johnson. "We are pleased to build on our success with Marc Dorcel. By working with mainstream giants such as Deutsche Telekom we make certain Sureflix remains an industry leader and our studios receive the promotion they deserve."

The Bonn, Germany-based Deutsche Telekom is the largest telecommunications company in the E.U., with holdings that include the T-Mobile cellphone network. Among their adult offerings is the "cross-platform service" Erotic Lounge.
