Matthew Rush Sets 1st Post-Falcon Project

CALIFORNIA — Movies with Mark Wolff Video and Pantheon Productions are the first filmed projects for performer Matthew Rush since parting ways with Falcon Studios in January. The fan-favorite bodybuilder had been an exclusive for the entirety of his adult career.

Rush will anchor "Real Men 17: Brief Encounters" for boutique label Pantheon Productions.

His scene with costar Tim Kelly was shot on Jan. 30. "These two studs swapped wet-and-wild fucks in a hot shower scene," the studio said.

It was Rush's first filmed vignette with an older, mature costar and Kelly's first scene as a bottom.

"Real Men 17: Brief Encounters" was helmed by Walter Romero and streets March 6.

Rush also will be seen a headlining role in "Project Muscle" from Mark Wolff Video that is currently scheduled for release in May.

"He has a very hot and hardcore muscle worship scene with lots of flexing and teasing, with a big cumshot ending," studio principal Mark Wolff told XBIZ.

"I think it will show a different side of Matthew from when he was with Falcon. He is massive right now, somewhere around 235 pounds of muscled beef, which is something I know my DVD customers and website members will really love."

Glamour layouts promoting the film will be teased later this month on MarkWolff.com and affiliate site JockButt.com.

"He's a big boy in more ways than one, both in the industry and on the muscle circuit," Mark Wolff Video producer Victor Cody told XBIZ. "I have known Matthew for some time and it's a great honor to finally get to work with him. We had a great time and he is a consummate professional."

Rush anchored nearly 30 films for Falcon Studios between 2000 and 2008, including the recent "Best Men, Part 1: The Bachelor Party."

"I don't fit the Falcon look anymore," he told XBIZ in an earlier interview. "I'm older, I have tattoos and I want to have the ability to do different things."
